For carnivores who lived in Guildford 20 years ago: two words; Brett's Burgers.
For anyone else who's eyes haven't glazed over in ridiculous burger nostalgia one of my formative food memories was a monthly takeaway from Brett's. Oh boy did they know how to knock up an amazing, and amazingly messy, Friday night treat... Sigh.
Since then burgers have always been my favourite fast food. Not the two chains but something decent, unusual, odd...

(For example: Byron, courgette fries and Camden Hells. Plus iPad and ArtRage).
So I'm well up for National Burger Day although, sadly, I packed a salad today :( Hugely envious of everyone at the Mr Hyde Dalston Yard thing today which sounds all sorts of fab.
I did allow myself am hour and a half to draw this though, which will have to do, celebration wise.

It started as a doodle on one of my trusty Moleskine pads using Bic biro and Pentel brush pen. Once I'd got that sorted I took a photo, imported it into ArtRage app on my similarly well loved HTC One phone and coloured it in using mainly the roller and the palette knife.
Started at around 9 ish, finished at just gone half ten (although I've noodled around with the picture over the past couple of hours while multi tasking at College enrolment if it went quiet).
Hope you like :)
