The summer break from my college isn't a summer break per se. Teachers, generally, get a limited number of days holiday, just fewer days we can use them on. That said fam and I did manage to get a very lovely week in Dorset and I used the time to both relax, experiment with new apps and to try some new styles of image making.
I even cracked open a sketchbook for the first time in ages (with the express determination of NOT writing to do lists in it which seem the stock in trade for all of my recent Moleskines :( )

The image below is ironic, in some ways, as tech, I don't think, hates me. I certainly don't hate it, with all of the above images having gone through either a Note 2, am HTC One M8 or an iPad Mini 2. Or a phone that I can't remember the name of in a Three store on one rainy day...
So do I feel Tek hates you? No. Yes, but he hates everyone equally... So don't take it personally. He(and a few other robot doodles) probably came from a couple of days thinking robot related things... All I need is a holiday to get some drawing done...
Oh. Yeah. Not for a while then... :)
I did however, on the subject of SAVING time, pick up and play with Slate, from Adobe. Alongside Brush, Sketch, Illustrator Draw (and a slew of other apps) Slate is a simple to pick up single web page creator. It's a fab app, like it loads and can see myself using it a fair amount in the future.
