Obviously I love drawing on screens... And I love drawing on a range of them. Each has a subtle flavour, a hint of something which makes it specific.
The most obvious difference is in operating system but apps tend to have a machine they are tailored for and certain styli work best on certain screens.
To date the only screen which has taken to all styli - wood, plastic, brush, rubber tip and more - is the HTC One series. It also happens to be a beautifully designed phone, which is why it's my current smart phone (and by default the one I draw on).
((That's not to say that I don't look at other phones and wish to draw on them... :) including the M9, but as I'm a part time teacher I have to wait for second hand prices and tend to be a generation behind most of my friends. I guess it builds patience at least)).
Anyhow: here is the beginning, middle and end of a picture I started two nights ago as a doodle and then finished yesterday night while listening to the Champion's League semi final. I'll often draw a squiggle and see where that goes, to relax, and that led to this, which I was happy with at the end.
Drawn on HTC One M8 using Corel Painter app and Wacom FineLine, Joy long barrel, Dagi styli.
