fAQ: apps.
Is there one app out there? Patently better than all others? Which app should you download...?
If it's a conversation about apps I always try and find out a little more about the requirements and wants. Love ink pens? I'd suggest Adobe Draw. Windows OS? Fresh Paint. Android? Infinite Painter or Corel Painter. Simple doodling? Didlr. Collaborative work? Talkboard and so on. There are so many apps out there it's hard to say just one but, if one name were demanded of me, it would probably be ArtRage. It's a fabulous app which dances gracefully (for the most part) between hugely powerful and easily learnable.
However I have a range of moods and an app which fits each one, on a range of devices. Below the video you can see 33 pictures, each one drawn on a different app, often on a different OS or tablet. One of my skills is the ability to pick up any app or machine and, in ten minutes, come out with a picture. That's a little down to the fact that touch screens and modern application design have made things so approachable but also down to the fact that I've drawn a LOT of pictures :)
